Introduction to the Software 3 - The Macintosh Interface

If you are not already familiar with the Macintosh interface, you can learn about it by rolling your mouse over the icons in the following image. You can then test it on your own Netscape window that you are currently using to view this page.

 


Close Box:
Click here to close the window.
Title bar:
Drag the title bar to
move the window around the screen.
Zoom Box:
Click in the zoom box
to toggle the window from full
screen size to a smaller screen size.
Scroll Up:
Click here to
scroll the window up.
Thumb
Drag the thumb within
the scrollbar to scroll
the window a specific amount.
Scroll Down:
Click here to scroll
the window downward.
Resize Box:
Drag this box
to rezise the window.
Scroll Right:
Click here to scroll
the window to the right.
Scrollbar:
One click in the scroll
bar advances the page
up, down, left or right by one window.
Scroll Left:
Click here to scroll
the window to the left.
