The End of the Ice Age 7 - The Effects of Global Warming on the Bering Land Bridge

In this part of the exercise, we will focus on the Bering Straights area, separating Alaska from Siberia, to see in some detail what effects global warming at the end of the Pleistocene had on one very important part of the world. As you study the following segment, think about how world prehistory and history might have been different if the land bridge had not been submerged. Note various routes that the warming opened to migration, as well as possible routes eventually closed by the effects of warming.
